Does WEIPU participate in industry standards?
Yes. WEIPU is a member of the National Electrical Appliances Standardization Technical Committees and participated in drafting the national connector standard GB/T 11918-2014.
Why does the WAC Series use different shell materials for plug and socket?
The plug (PA66) needs higher wear resistance (frequent plugging), while the socket (PC) needs better insulation performance (fixed installation in equipment). This combination balances durability and electrical safety for audio equipment connections.
What does "V-0" flame resistance grade mean?
V-0 is a flame retardant grade in the UL94 standard, which means that after the sample is ignited with a flame, the flame is extinguished within 10 seconds, and no dripping occurs that can ignite the cotton below. The V-0 grade flame retardant shell can effectively inhibit the spread of fire and improve the safety of the product in industrial environments.
What are the contact options of the TYPR-231-C series? How to choose?
The TYPR-231-C series is equipped with tin-plated contacts. Tin-plated contacts have good conductivity and high cost-effectiveness, which are fully suitable for general industrial environments with no special corrosion requirements. It is recommenxingded to select according to the actual working environment and budget.
Is it necessary to choose the EMC shielding function?
It depends on the use scenario. If the connector is used in a complex electromagnetic environment (such as near high-power electrical equipment, frequency converters, etc.), it is recommended to choose the EMC shielding function, which can effectively reduce electromagnetic interference and ensure stable signal transmission; if it is used in a simple electromagnetic environment, the standard version without shielding can meet the requirements.
